Jérôme Rickmann has been working in international higher education for about 9 years. He currently serves as Director International Talent Acquisition & Project Development at EBC Hochschule - a multi-campus business school based in Germany. In this position he functions as Project Lead for the 2015 newly formed "European Centre for Career Development & Entrepreneurship" - a transnational career service consortium involving Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Universidad Autonóma de Madrid, Regent's University London, Paris School of Business and EBC Hochschule. He served for four years as Head of Career Services at the EBC’s Berlin Campus. Prior work engagements include e.g. Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, where he managed the ERASMUS-programme and internship administration on departmental level or Linköping University as German Programme Manager for a language and internship programme running in Berlin.

Jérôme is especially interested in higher education management, internationalisation and scaling processes in the careers field.

Adriana is a lecturer and researcher in business organisations and the internationalisation of higher education at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) in Spain. She is the Project Manager at UAM for ECCE. Adriana has a Bachelor´s degree in Translation and Interpreting (English and German) and a Master’s degree in International Relations with Latin America; she is also completing her MBA and studying for a PhD on strategies for welcoming international students, with a special focus on services provided and volunteer associations. During her six years as Head of the International Relations Office in the Faculty of Business and Economics at UAM, she was constantly in contact with local and international students, university partners and colleagues. Since 2005 she has volunteered for the Erasmus Student Network, serving as National Representative, President of the UAM chapter, Project Coordinator and Research Member. She has recently been appointed as an Evaluator for Spain’s Erasmus+ National Agency and she is a Trainer for the EAIE Academy.

Passionate and motivated person for her family, friends and work. She lovs to look ahead and get involved in new adventures.

A qualified Careers Adviser, gaining her QCG and Post Graduate Careers Guidance qualifications in 2009 from the University of Reading. At present, pursuing an MA in Career Development and Coaching Studies at the University of Warwick. Her subject interests are psychology, (she has a BSc (Hons) Psychology degree), graduate transition and entrepreneurship. Veejay works directly with students and graduates offering impartial consultations, delivering career management masterclasses with the use of career tools. Information, advice and guidance (IAG) is provided to facilitate labour market intelligence, job searching, recruitment stages / processes (CV, applications, interview techniques and assessment centre), allowing for informed career decision making - whether that’s finding the desired employment or successfully launching a business. She has worked in the education sector (both further and higher) for just over 10 years and has a background in recruitment, working with employers locally and nationally. Veejay has sat on validation boards for new and re-validated programmes in the Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences faculty. She is also the Project Manager for the ECCE project.

On a personal note, she is an F1 enthusiast, interest in cars. In partnership, Veejay had a successful smoothie juice bar business and she enjoys running for charity events fundraising.

Dr. Nadia Fernandez-de-Pinedo ECCE-Project Manager

Nadia is a Senior Lecturer of Economic History at the Universidad Autónoma of Madrid where she teaches Spanish Economic History, World Economic History and Economic Divergence in Historical Perspective. She completed her undergraduate (BA History and Geography degree) and Doctoral degrees at the Universidad del País Vasco and a Postdoctoral research at the University of Warwick. During her doctoral studies she stayed as a Researcher at universities and research centres in Cuba, United Kingdom and France. Her research interests revolve around the interactions between the emergence of transnational networks and the globalisation of the world economy since eighteenth-century. She is currently a member of the Group of Innovation, Business and Commerce (www.ibcnetwork.org) where she has embarked on a project for examining Cuban IPRs, technology transfer processes, and institutions. In addition, she has also written widely on topics related to fabric distribution and consumption and belongs to the Global History Network   (http://www.globalhistorynetwork.com). She enjoys lecturing, which has led her to conduct several teaching innovation projects in which she seeks to drive improvements in teaching and incorporate IT's such as SPOC’s. She has also been coordinator of International Relations for five years and Copy-Editor of the Journal of Economic History Research - Economic History Research.

She is a passionate and committed person. In her spare time she enjoys drawing and reading.

Currently working at Paris School of Business (PSB) as an Associate Professor in Entrepreneurship and data business. Rony Germon holds a PhD in technological and organisational systems from University of Technology of Troyes. He is the Head of MSc Data Management and co-holder of the Chair Digital, Data Design. His subject interests are entrepreneurship (Several scientific articles in Entrepreneurship and also MOOC), crowdfunding (several scientific articles) and also big data. Rony works directly with students and graduates offering consultations on their entrepreneurship project.

 

On a personal note, he is a Rum Cocktail Master.

Gianluca studied in Italy and has a degree from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (UCSC) in Foreign Languages and Literatures. He has been working for UCSC Global Engagement and International Education Office since 2003. For 4 years he worked in the International Cooperation Unit managing cooperation projects with developing countries, financed by the European Commission and other international donors. In 2007 he left that position to take over the supervision of the exchange/ study abroad programmes, which now sends abroad around 2200 students every year. Besides being Associate Director for Outbound Programmes, he was also appointed Institutional Coordinator for Dual Degrees (Europe, Latin America and China) in 2010, and for Experiential Learning in 2015, establishing a unit which provides international internship (outbound and inbound) opportunities.

Besides being the father of six children, Gianni is active in volunteering activities in his neighbourhood where he also contributes to the administration of a small private kindergarten.

Graduated from university in 2009 with a Diploma in Business Administration & Languages. As part of her studies, she spent a semester abroad in Spain followed by an internship in the travel and education sector there. Her first job led her in Ireland, where she worked in the adult education sector and successfully managed an au pair and language programme agency for 6 ½ years. Since January 2016, she has been running the Career Centre at EBC University Berlin. She provides training & education for young adults at EBC University Berlin; making EBC students fit for national and international work situations by providing them with internship/job offers and career opportunities, holding workshops and career events as well as guiding and counselling them, gives her a lot of joy.

Luca studied in Italy and has a degree in Law from Università di Bologna, with a thesis in International Law. He worked as “stagiaire“  at European Commission, DG Competition in 2012 (7 months stage). He has worked for UCSC Internal Audit for 3 years and now he is working for UCSC Global Engagement & International Education Office since February 2016, in Outbound Area – Experiential Learning unit.  He works directly with students and graduates assisting and coaching them for UCSC international Internship programs.

On a personal way, Luca is interested in music, he has a psych/pop band and play as Dj in some bars/club in Milan.

He is also interested in cinema (he loves 50s American movies and German movies from the 70s) and he worked in a cinema as projectionist.
